SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – CALL CENTER

PW Brands is a leading manufacturer and online reseller of aftermarket watersports products for both wakeboarding and fishing boats and is interviewing smart, energetic, hard working and motivated sales professionals to work in our sales and support call center located in the Laguna Hills, CA!   • There is NO cold calling – you will be handling in-coming calls
  • We work great hours… 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday!
  • Looking for experienced, strong phone sales people
  • Must be comfortable working in a call center environment
  • Must be computer savvy and be able to use and quickly learn our computer-based ordering system
  • Requires exceptional multitasking skills
  • Preferred basic technical understanding of aftermarket products and how they are installed

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Motivate and inspire the call center team members to surpass their potential and established quotas for sales and service.
  • Improve the performance of the call center team by facilitating the communication amongst members.
  • Exceed and meet departmental objectives, conversion targets and production levels.
  • Create and foster a sense of ownership within the employees and resolve minor employee issues.
  • Consistently seek opportunities and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and methods to increase revenue within the team.
  • Act as an information source for members of the team, as well as, assign tasks and give instructions.
  • Monitor, organize and assist in the coaching efforts of the team on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that team members follow their schedules as assigned, as well as adhere to company policies.
  • Handle complicated client issues and escalated calls, complaints, questions and queries.
  • Compile and update information in spreadsheets, databases, etc.
  • Conduct team meetings

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of customer care techniques and processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and listening skills.
  • Ability to operate in a call center environment.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and interact with diverse group of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with peers, senior management and other departments in a professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain composure and stay calm under pressure.
  • Ability to plan well and organize work for self and others.
  • Strong decision making, IT and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of computer basics (Windows, Excel, Word, Operating Systems and the Internet).
  • Previous experience with ecommerce platforms a huge plus.
  • Ability to speak read & write in English.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum three (3) years work experience in a similar role, with at least one (1) year in a call center environment and one (1) year in a supervisory/lead role.
  • Interest or experience in boating or a related industry preferred but not required.
